Autumn in Baltimore offers some of the nation’s best scenery, outdoor adventures and cultural ambiance one could imagine. Crisp leaves falling and decorating the sidewalks as a warm cup of joe cuddles you like that new flannel you’ve been waiting to unveil. In a place as picturesque as Baltimore that showcases a balance between a bustling urban hotspot and comforting Southern charm, we want to ensure that you see the best of both worlds. To help plan your fall getaway, we’ve decided to put together a list of our most cherished seasonal activities.
This scenic ten-mile stretch of gently rolling grass and colorful woods offers pristine hiking and biking on a paved path. Wrapping around the famous Jones Falls Waterways, the trail brings you past Baltimore’s famous Druid Hill Park-another fan favorite for outdoor activities- just before ending back at the Inner Harbor. Spacious paths encourage you to find the blissful side of social distancing on the busy city.
Navigating your way through the city by land is no simple feat during weekend traffic. That’s why the legendary Baltimore Water Taxi is our favorite way to travel around Baltimore’s harborside neighborhoods and embrace the rich history of our naval pride and development. Offering private charters and tours, the Baltimore Water Taxi is perfectly designed for both families and adults. Currently, the Water Taxi is running at limited capacity. Please, take a look at their webpage for the most up-to-date safety guidelines.

Magdalena’s newly revamped beverage program focuses on craft brews from Baltimore and the Maryland region. While there is no shortage of incredible breweries to visit, Monument City Brewing Co. in Highlandtown offers a full tasting experience inclusive of food and live music. Start the evening with a freshly brewed pint as local artists perform live music as a part of their private concert series – The Backstage Pass (returning Nov 7). Then, cap off the visit by taking a tour of Monument’s brewing operations and maybe even sneak a sip of a new flavor yet to be released. Concert tickets can be reserved online and have virtual viewing options as well.
